In her collages, and paintings, Ife explores the histories of the African diaspora and family traditions. She incorporates meaningful artifacts, images, and symbols. Ife is drawn to communicating across barriers: visually and practically using mixed media, adinkra, various African writing symbols, and repeated cloth patterning throughout her work.
